NOVA LINCS

João Neves

João Neves received the MSc and PhD in Computer Science from the University of Beira Interior, in 2013 and 2018, respectively. Since 2020, he has been affiliated with NOVA Laboratory for Computer Science and Informatics (NOVA LINCS). He was an adjunct professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Viseu, and since 2021 he is an assistant professor at the University of Beira Interior. He has been involved in several national (e.g, AIRS, DeepNeuronic) and international projects (InovFarmer.MED), supervised 8 MSc dissertations, and 4 PhD thesis. He is an Associate Editor of IEEE Access journal, and he has been distinguished with the Best Reviewer Award of the IJCB 2023.
