Aspect-Oriented Software Engineering for COTS Components

We propose an Aspect-based framework for the development of COTS Components. The expertise of New University of Lisbon in requirements engineering, and the expertise of University Pau in Component-Based Software Engineering (CBSE), in addition to our strong collaboration on Aspects will allow the creation of a leading team on the topic of Aspect-Oriented Software Engineering for COTS Components. The objectives of the project are twofold: (1) to define modelling techniques for COTS components with aspects at modelling level; (2) to map the models produced above into design models for COTS components
