Eric Souza

Eric Souza is a Computer Science Ph.D. student and researcher at NOVA LINCS, Universidade NOVA de Lisboa (Portugal), advised by Ana Moreira. He received his MSc degree in Computer Engineering from Universidade de Pernambuco (Brazil) in 2012, and his post-graduation degree in Software Engineering from Faculdade Boa Viagem (Brazil) in 2008. His main research interests are in the area of software engineering, especially value-based software engineering, software requirements, software architecture, evidence-based software engineering, and software quality. In particular, Eric uses Model-Driven Engineering, and Evidence-Based Software Engineering techniques to creates and evaluates value-based approaches which improve the alignment between business and information system areas. Eric has published in peer-reviewed international journals, conferences, and workshops. He received the best paper award at the 14th European, Mediterranean, and Middle Eastern Conference (EMCIS 2017).
