João Zambujal-Oliveira

João Zambujal de Oliveira completed his Habilitation degree in Management in 2023 at the University of Lisbon, Instituto Superior de Economia e Gestão. He earned his Ph.D. in Management in 2007 from the Universityof Lisbon, Instituto Superior de Economia e Gestão. He also holds a Master's degree in Applied Economics obtained in 1996 from the Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Nova School of Business and Economics, and an MBA in Management obtained in 2000 from the University of Lisbon, Instituto Superior de Economia e Gestão. His undergraduate degree is in Systems Engineering and Informatics, completed in 1989 at the University of Minho. He is currently an Associate Professor at the University of Madeira. He has published 13 articles in specialized journals, authored 8 book chapters, and has been the author or editor of 11 books. Additionally, he is supervising theses and research projects for 5 students. Recently, he has been involved as a researcher in projects such as "SIH - Smart Islands Hub" and "MiCoLEC - Collaborative Micro-hubs for the Circular Economy." His research interests lie in the fields of Enterprise Engineering, Economics and Management Science.
